Shocks..

use a 0,1mm shim to get rid of the play

use a small knife to mark the shock top so you always know which position it should be at

make sure all the shocks are the same length

fill up the shock and compress the piston until you get rid of all the excessive oil, hold the bladder down with your finger and the rebound should be about 2mm

double joint drive shafts used this time, will be replaced at the race too the new Tamiya Steel ones. Also the plastic spool outdrives will be replaced for the Tamiya Steel outdrive! out of stock at the moment..

- fitting the roll-bars. first make sure the droop is the same left/right

then I use the Tamiya droop measure-tool to check that the roll-bar is the same left/right

As a battery-stopper  I use a plastic part with a screw in it to adjust the perfect length

for the shocks I use the MR33 (red) springs, both handles and looks great. Notice that this is intended for asphalt setup.

Gear-diff, then I use 3shims on the long side and 2pcs on the short side. (0,1mm)

I dont do any sanding or stuff like that to the gears, just remove the extra plastic from when you brake it of the chart!

Apply the right amount of oil, here I normally fill it up to the cross sprints. Mostly I use Pro-Spec 1000wt oil.

use a mark on the tension for the belts so you easily can see the center point

Make sure the belts are not too tight so the drivetrain runs freely
